Mario Doria was born & raised in beautiful Naples, FL. He is the founding partner of VANDERBILT INSURANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT/, an independent insurance agency domiciled in Naples, FL.

Mario graduated from Charleston Southern University with a B.A. degree in English & Spanish Secondary Education. He spent six years in the classroom teaching English and coaching football and baseball. At the age of 31 he got an opportunity to become the youngest Athletic Director in the state. He began at his alma mater Lely High School and shortly thereafter at Palmetto Ridge High School (where he opened the school from the ground up as the very first A.D. in the school’s history). After 4 years in this position, Mario decided to make a career move and go into the insurance industry as a partner / owner at GC Insurance agency with his twin brother.

Over the next twelve years (2005-2017) Mario helped build GC Insurance agency into a very well-known and successful insurance agency while insuring over 5,000 families. While doing this he remained very active in the community through youth and high school sports.

Mario has taken the same fundamental approach that he used to help build his previous agency and used that to make VANDERBILT INSURANCE a trusted partner that can help protect families within our community. As an independent agency he will be able to shop for insurance with several different markets in order to provide his customers with great pricing without sacrificing coverage or leaving them with gaps in their protection plan. The philosophy of VANDERBILT INSURANCE is to treat every customer as if they were a family member and never sacrifice protection.

In his free time, Mario enjoys vacationing and spending time with his wife, Kimberly and their children: Taylor (25), Dylan (23), Hilaria (15), and Jackson (13).

Taylor was born and raised in Naples, Florida. She graduated from Golden Gate HS and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in Interdisciplinary Entrepreneurship.

As a member of the FGCU School of Entrepreneurship Taylor was a student ambassador. She got the opportunity to learn from professors with real business experience, and she got to learn different business aspects. Taylor has been able to use the skills & lessons she was taught in this program and apply them to Vanderbilt Insurance to help with growth & development.

As the Personal Lines Manager of Vanderbilt Insurance, Taylor takes pride in managing our personal lines department while also educating clients about insurance and advising them to make sure they are protected and adequately covered. Taylor enjoys spending time with her younger siblings and friends.

Kimberly was born and raised in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She graduated from West Forsyth HS where she was a standout on the golf team. She was given an opportunity to attend Charleston Southern University on a golf scholarship. Kimberly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. While earning her degree she also was a team captain and 3 year letter winner on the golf team. Upon graduating, Kimberly married her college sweetheart, Mario, and began a career in education.

Kimberly has spent the last 19 years in the education field; she has spent the last 2 years as the Reading Coach for Golden Gate HS. The previous 6 years she spent developing, editing, and producing the school newspaper and yearbook at the same school. Along with producing the latter she had to raise the funds for them through advertisements and marketing and develop all of the material.

She has also gained experience in event planning and management as the advisor for Prom and senior class. All of this experience has armed her with the tools necessary to put Vanderbilt Insurance on the map.

Kimberly enjoys vacationing and spending time with her husband, Mario and their children: Taylor (23), Dylan (21), Hilaria (13), and Jackson (11).

Dylan was born and raised in Naples, Florida. He graduated from Barron Collier HS where he was a standout on the baseball team that made 2 State Final Four appearances. He was given an opportunity to attend Mars Hill University (NC) on a baseball scholarship where he spent his freshman year before transferring to Baldwin Wallace University (OH). He is majoring in Business Finance and he is a member of the baseball team.

Dylan works remotely for Vanderbilt Insurance while away at school and works from the office during summer and holiday breaks. Dylan is a licensed Customer Service Representative and he takes pride in servicing our clients insurance needs.

In his spare time, Dylan enjoys weightlifting, playing baseball for his university, and giving private baseball instruction to youth players in the area.

Aly was born and raised in Naples, Florida. She graduated from Barron Collier HS where she was a standout athlete who made 2 State Golf tournaments, was a 3-year varsity captain for soccer, and played varsity softball for 4 years. She was given the opportunity to attend Cleveland State University on a softball scholarship. She is majoring in Business Management.

Aly works remotely for Vanderbilt Insurance while away at school and works from the office during summer and holiday breaks. Aly is a licensed Customer Service Representative, and she takes pride in servicing our client’s insurance needs.

In her spare time, Aly enjoys weightlifting, playing softball for her university, and going out golfing with her dad.

Kenny was born in Clarksville, TN, but was raised in Naples, Florida from the time that he was two years old. He graduated from Palmetto Ridge HS where he was a standout in both football and baseball. He was given an opportunity to attend Ave Maria University (FL) on a baseball and football scholarship.

Kenny works full time for Vanderbilt Insurance as an Account Representative and he also coaches high school football at his alma mater. He takes pride in servicing our clients' insurance needs.

In his spare time, Kenny enjoys playing hockey, softball, and golf. He also enjoys building small woodworking projects, attending sports events, and spending time with his family. Kenny also gives private baseball instruction from little league all the way up to high school players.

Hilary was born and raised in Naples, Florida. She is a student at Golden Gate HS and is a member of the Culinary Club.

Hilary manages our marketing and social media. She is also in charge of promotional items and all designs branding our logo.

In her spare time, Hilary enjoys babysitting, weightlifting, and making jewelry for her online collection.
